Guillemots / November 2008 UK Tour

Those quirky lot, The Guillemots, have announced a November UK tour of some more bizarre venues than many bands have played this year.
Lead singer, Fyfe Dangerfield commented on their press release “We want to get to places that are off the usual touring circuit that’s reeled out, and really mix around the type of venues we’re at each night. It makes it more fun for us and audiences too. And the set will be different as well. We’ll definitely be trying out something we’ve never played live before.”
Accompanying Guillemots on the tour will be film events company Future Shorts – with whom the band collaborated for their re-scoring of the David Lynch classic Eraserhead at this year’s Latitude Festival. Each show on the November tour will be preceded by a selection of short films re-scored live by the band.
Not sure if you want to catch them live, or need a bit of persuading to splash out on a ticket? Then why not catch their live show they did at Amsterdam’s Paradiso in June this year? It’s available now over on Fabchannel
Tickets are on sale now, from the usual sources, and also from Sandbag.
