Live: Temper Trap at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend 2009

The Temper Trap were one of the BBC’s “Sound of 2009” shortlisted bands, and have some amazing tunes, as Steve introduced a few months ago. I checked them out on the Introducing stage, and they certainly lived up to expectations.
Double handclaps, anthemic tunes that are both accessible and multilayered. Little banter between songs meant they were able to plunge through a pretty much solid 30 minute set, featuring bloggers delight (and my first introduction to the band) “Sweet Disposition” and current single “Science of Fear”.
