Bands to Watch #132: Flamboyant Bella

They say:
Flamboyant Bella are four teenagers who hail from Hitchin in Hertfordshire and are all unbelievably aged between 17 and 19. Already amassing a staggering 2 million hits on Myspace, its easy to see how they’ve managed to complete three tours of the UK and have no problem selling out venues with out even the hint of a release up to this point.
James McBreen knows how to write effortlessly memorable riffs and combines the composition with witty, insightful tales of a capricious youth. Front women and guitarist Flo Citron’s stunning looks are matched by her equally attractive and distinct vocals, fusing effortlessly with James to make an engaging duo. Completing the quartet are talented musical brothers Mitch on bass and Doreen on drums who provide the perfect rhythm section
We Say:
Like a more “street” version of (other TGTF favourites) Defend Moscow, Flamboyant Bella certainly are flamboyant, fun and funky. Energetic, they sound like a bizarre mixture between Kylie, Girls Aloud, Jamie T and Kid British (who they’re off on tour with in October) that will have you moving in your seat like there’s no tomorrow. Make sure you watch these guys – they’re a lot of fun and should be doing good things in the future if there’s any justice.
You Say:
Watch the video for their forthcoming single, “Get A Reaction” which is out in about 10 days time on 21st September.
