Video of the Moment #213: Fyfe Dangerfield

A second video for Fyfe Dangerfield‘s amazing song, ‘She Needs Me,’ has popped up on the website promonews.tv, and subsequently on youTube. Directed by KOJA, in the video “Fyfe wanders through a suburban hinterland of flare-wielding kids, a cellist, violinist and a unicorn.” While the video is visually stunning, the overall tone of it feels wrong. The dark rooms, storm clouds and broken pianos in this video don’t match up with the joyous sound of the song, which is probably why they ultimately didn’t choose to use it. The other video, which we previously posted on TGTF, is far more suitable, even if it is less avant garde.

A high quality version of the video can also be viewed here.

Looks like the videos have been taken down…sorry, kids!
