Bands to Watch #170: The See See

So an upcoming psychedelic band dubbed, The See See, are about release a debut album this year. But for now, let’s focus on the present. The groovy foursome have put out a superlative track, called “Mary Soul”, which paints a relaxed landscape of the heady days of ‘60s as well as touches upon later-day contemporaries like Ocean Colour Scene.
This song packs a punch of a soaring guitar riffs and driving bass lines, tied all together with very likeable vocals. Check the track out now, before things get really hectic for this multi-cultural bunch. Truth be known, things are already kicking off for the group. Jack White recently nabbed them to support the Raconteurs on their last UK tour, and now The See See have set out to open for the Brian Jonestown Massacre’s current gigging spree around Britain.
Give your eyes, ears and some cash to this band. Judging form their latest single, they’re onto a greatness here that will no doubt equate into an enjoyable, soon-to-be-released LP.
