Toro Y Moi / July 2010 UK Tour

By on Friday, 11th June 2010 at 8:30 am

South Carolinan act Toro Y Moi (aka Chazwick Bundwick) is known in America as one of the pioneers of the chillwave movement. (According to Wikipedia, chillwave is a musical genre closely associated with synthpop, shoegaze, ambient and psychedelic sounds. To me it sounds like relaxed electronic music – think compressed synths – with a bit of hip hop.) He and his band will embark on their first tour of the UK in July. They will also play Lovebox and Field Day Festivals.

Monday 12th July 2010 – Birmingham Hare and Hounds
Saturday 17th July 2010 – London Lovebox Festival
Sunday 18th July 2010 – Brighton Freebutt
Monday 19th July 2010 – London Camp Basement
Wednesday 28th July 2010 – Sheffield Harley (DiS Presents)
Thursday 29th July 2010 – Glasgow Captain’s Rest
Friday 30th July 2010 – Manchester Deaf Institute
Saturday 31st July 2010 – London Field Day Festival at Victoria Park
