MP3 of the Day #208: Twin Shadow

Twin Shadow (known to his mum as George Lewis Junior) is one of the newest gems to appear from New York. He’s a purveyor of simple but great off-kilter pop – similar at times to Darwin Deez in bed with Miike Snow as Spandau Ballet and M83 play on the radio (now there’s an image you don’t really want to have floating through your head). As a taster of what he’s capable of, check out a couple standout recordings from his early bedroom sessions below:
