MP3 of the Day #209: Jonah Maddox
I’m not going to lie to you: I’m a sucker for “heart on-yer-sleeve” stuff. A bit of yearning, a bit of love, a bit of loss. Everyone can relate to it at sometime or another. So when I got a press release through about Jonah Maddox saying he’s a purveyor of “foot stomping hopeful folk” he immediately jumped up my list of “bands to check out”. Then I saw he’s done a video with Jose Vanders (one of our very first Bands to Watch) and I, well, fell in love a bit.
It’s not gonna be to everyone’s tastes, but we’ve never hidden the fact that here at TGTF we write about what we love, and this is definitely what I love today.
His debut album is released later this month, and this is a sneek peak of what to expect – it’s just a free mp3 from his official website.
