MP3 of the Day #237: Allo Darlin’

Allo Darlin’ is the London-based folk pop project led by Australian-born singer/songwriter Elizabeth Morris. With band members Paul Rains (guitar), Bill Botting (bass) and Michael Collins (drums), Allo Darlin’ began in earnest as a side band to Morris’s involvement in the Tender Trap and soon the group was noticed by newspapers, music magazines, and definitely not least of all, indie star maker Steve Lamacq, who has not been shy in his support for the band.

If you haven’t heard Allo Darlin’ yet, below is a great taster of a track called ‘My Heart is a Drummer’. It’s as catchy as Camera Obscura except that it’s got a ukulele.
