MP3 of the Day #337: The Static Jacks

Last year I saw the Static Jacks open for two massive bands: the Futureheads and Biffy Clyro (on Biffy’s first North American headlining tour). I was impressed with them then, and I am impressed with them now: the high energy New Jersey band have been signed to Fenway Recordings, the American home of the Cribs and Doves. I couldn’t be more chuffed for them.

Their debut album, ‘If You’re Young’, will be out this summer, and as a taster, the band are giving away the track ‘Girl Parts’ away for free. Listen to and download it below.
