Video of the Moment #512: Peter Murphy

By on Thursday, 30th June 2011 at 6:00 pm

The “Godfather of Goth”, ex-Bauhaus frontman Peter Murphy, released his ninth solo album earlier this year, aptly titled ‘Ninth’. What’s most intriguing about his latest release is his “return to form” – that is, a return to a sound more reminiscent of his former band – and ‘I Spit Roses’, embraces his past. The video reminds me a lot of Smashing Pumpkins’ ‘Tonight, Tonight’; agree? Disagree? Let us know what you think about this song in the comments.

My favourite part of this video? Completely unexpectedly, an arm saves him. Watch it and you’ll see.
