Ever wondered how a city gets built on rock ‘n’ roll? I’m not being facetious, this was actually the subject of a song in 1985 by Starship, a relatively short-lived offshoot of the ’60s’ Jefferson Airplane and ensuing ’70s band Jefferson Starship. Thanks to Ben for the suggestion. Evidently, not at all influential music magazine Blender put this on their Top ’50 Most Awesomely Bad Songs Ever’ but the link to Blender’s Web site is broken.
