Video of the Moment #1087: Django Django

By on Tuesday, 8th January 2013 at 6:00 pm

One of the most talked about bands on the festival circuit in 2012, Django Django, have released a new video for ‘Hand of Man’, from their well-received debut album released in January of last year. They kept this one in the family too: drummer Dave Maclean brother John was drafted to direct the video, which flies in the face of all their previous trippy Django videos.

That’s right. This one’s entirely in black and white, which fits the more chill and less frenetic nature of the song. Er…maybe you’re lulled into thinking this is the way the whole video is going to be. But no. Something happens in the middle that just doesn’t make sense. Just watch. Like everything else this band has given us, this promo is pleasantly unexpected.
