Since last we heard from Editors, they lost a guitarist – Chris Urbanowicz – and gained a new one – Elliott Williams, whose departure from Glossop’s Airship caused the folding of that band.
They’ve come back to us with a new single from their forthcoming fourth album ‘The Weight of Your Love’. Sounding a bit U2, the single ‘A Ton of Love’ gives us the first glimpse of Editors’ new line-up since Urbanowicz left the band a year ago. A little brighter than typical Editors’ fare, the song is cool enough to pique the interest of many a fan. The new album will be released on 1 July. Watch the video for the new single below.
