Rhode Island band Deer Tick have a new video out for ‘The Rock’, their forthcoming single out on the 12th of August. No, it’s not about Alcatraz, it’s about the anatomy of a break-up. And the video? At first I was pretty sceptical; how exactly is a face going to keep me occupied for 4 minutes? It’s actually oddly mesmerising. Watch it below.

Deer Tick’s fifth album ‘Negativity’ follows on the 30th of September. The day after, the 1st of October, the band headline London Borderline.
