One of the great things living in the Nation’s Capital is NPR, our version of the BBC if you will, is based in our area. The best of musical acts that pass through our city are chosen for their Tiny Desk Concert series feature, which is exactly what it sounds like: the acts are situated in a tiny, claustrophobic room and are allowed to let loose to do what they do best, perform. Frank Turner’s turn last month in the room can be viewed below, in which he plays ‘Recovery’ and ‘The Way I Tend to Be’ and ‘Photosynthesis’ turns into a singalong. Watch the session below.
