Video(s) of the Moment #1260: The Joy Formidable

The Joy Formidable are releasing a four song EP along with a video for ‘Silent Treatment’. The video, full of gentle black and white images of lead singer Ritzy Bryan, belies the deep emotion of lost relationships. The video version of the song is compelling in its own way and develops the cinematic element of the band’s music. Featuring a mix from William Orbit, this version is quite embellished compared to the simple single guitar line from guitarist Rhydian Dafydd on the album version, which we’ve also embedded below as well in the form of a performance by Bryan and Dafydd for the Bowery Presents. Enjoy both versions for their differences!
