Video of the Moment #1318: Au Revoir Simone

Brooklyn girl trio Au Revoir Simone – quite possibly best known to you as providing vocals to Friendly Fires‘ megahit ‘Paris’ back in the day – have released a new video for ‘Crazy’, a song on their forthcoming album ‘Move in Spectrums’, out on the 23rd of September. This will be their second album and the follow-up to 2009’s ‘Still Night, Still Light’.
The way I understand it, it’s based on the Martin Scorsese film After Hours, except since there’s no guy in their band, one of the girls had to play the male lead. I’ve never seen the film, so I can’t comment on whether this is a good homage or not, but I give them props for not going the lazy route and filming a performance video. Watch it below.
