The tweed-wearing, spectacle-favouring duo Public Service Broadcasting were asked, now quite a while ago, by the organisers of a Dutch culture festival if they might write some original songs about a famous ice skating race for their event. The result? ‘Elfstedentocht Parts One & Two’, two atmospherically delectable, incredibly infectious tracks with the band’s trademark loving steals of spoken word announcements, just in Dutch instead of English language this time. Via Music Glue, the band are giving away both tracks in exchange for your email address. As they say, head this way and fill up yer boots before the bank holiday weekend!
