Video of the Moment #1751: Slaves

The creators of ‘Where’s Your Car Debbie?’, Slaves are currently on tour with the NME Awards tour and through the middle of next week. One can only assume they enjoy automobiles, as their latest promo for ‘Feed the Mantaray’, shows the pair running away (underwater too) from a stingray who won’t leave them alone. Essentially, this looks like what Spongebob Squarepants would probably turn out to be if left in Isaac and Laurie’s hands. Gotta love lads who don’t take themselves too seriously. Watch it below.

‘Feed the Mantaray’ will appear on the band’s debut album ‘Are You Satisfied?’, out the 1st of June on Virgin EMI; pre-order it from their Web site. The duo will be appearing at all three major city festivals in May – Live at Leeds, The Great Escape and Liverpool Sound City – but for a full list of their upcoming appearances, head to their Facebook.
