Video of the Moment #1803: PINS
Indie rock quartet PINS have just released the video for their new single ‘Young Girls’, which had its exclusive premiere last week on Noisey. The track will appear on PINS’ upcoming second LP ‘Wild Nights’, due for release on the 9th of June on Bella Union.
The video for ‘Young Girls’ was filmed on the streets of Manchester and directed by Amy Watson, who also took the helm of the previous PINS video for ‘Come Back’. For ‘Young Girls’, Watson took an alternate perspective on the typical “girls just wanna have fun” theme. “I wanted to take that wholesomeness and push it to a weird place,” said Watson, who has incorporated a rather ominous ‘Thelma & Louise’ style twist into the video’s plotline.
