Video of the Moment #1848: Paul Smith and the Intimations

Just a few more weeks to go before ‘Contradictions’, Paul Smith‘s new album with his new act Paul Smith and the Intimations, will be released to the wild. At the start of June, he unveiled ‘Coney Island (4th of July)’, which we featured on this previous Video of the Moment. This week, he has another LP taster for us: ‘Break Me Down’, a snappy little track with, dare I say it, an excellent command of jangly guitar pop. Have a watch of the promo of ‘Break Me Down’ below.

‘Contradictions’ will be released on the 21st of August on Smith’s own Billingham Records. Writings on Paul Smith’s work outside of Maximo Park on TGTF can be read through here.
