Video of the Moment #1882: Foals

By on Tuesday, 11th August 2015 at 6:00 pm

We’re inching that much closer to the release of Foals‘ fourth album ‘What Went Down’, due for its release the 28th of August on Warner Records. And now we have yet another taster from the new LP, this time in the form of a lyric video.

The visuals for ‘Knife in the Ocean’ match the atmospheric, bordering on the psychedelic quality of the track, as the ocean in the title as well as mountains as alluded to in previously released teaser ‘Mountain at My Gates’ are well represented in the promo. However, there is definitely a violent undercurrent to the imagery, as a revolver being fired through water, an out of control fire and an explosion are all placed before us as we watch on. Is an aural apocalypse ahead for us in the new Foals album? Watch it below.

Past coverage on TGTF on Foals is this way.
