Following album ‘Two Vines’ released last autumn, Aussies Empire of the Sun have followed that up with a new EP. The dance / electronic duo’s EP ‘On Our Way Home’ is out, and it features ‘Two Vines’ track ‘Way to Go’ three ways: the original, plus remixes from Japanese sensation Cornelius and also Gomez and Tritter. Nick Littlemore of the act says of the latest release: “We are back and we come with a labour of love and the might of our two hearts, we bring to you humbly with our hats and helmets in our hands. This EP represents us, including a song that is straight from the forest and the name of Two Leaves and a very special remix by the one and only Cornelius. As well as lots of other joys and a video made in Japan by the wondrous master of visual arts and beyond …” As we’ve come to expect from Empire of the Sun, the video for ‘Way to Go’ is a sensory delight, no doubt driven by the pair’s obsession with image and production values.
