Edinburgh’s finest Young Fathers have a video that, er, salutes these cartoon times. In my view, anyway! The group released their latest album ‘Cocoa Sugar’ on Ninja Tune in March, and this latest video is brilliant. For album tune ‘Toy’, director Salomon Ligthelm decided to take the vitriolic nature of the lyrics of the song and pair that with child actors playing the roles of, yup, you guessed it, world leaders.
