This is gonna be interesting. From the wonky, syncopated rhythms in their own music, it shouldn’t be any surprise that alt-J love hip-hop. This month, they’ll be able to show off a dream come true: the release of reworkings of songs off their 2017 album ‘Relaxer’ through collaborations with Little Simz, Pusha T, Rejjie Snow and more. To preview the upcoming album ‘Reduxer’, check out the new rendition of ‘Deadcrush’ featuring Danny Brown, reimagined by Alchemist and Trooko, through its futuristic animated video. (Check out the original version through this previous Video of the Moment post.) ‘Reduxer’ sees the light of day on the 24th of September on Infectious Music / Atlantic Records.
