Competition: Win Boys Like Girls Tickets

By on Monday, 12th April 2010 at 9:03 pm

Who doesn’t like a bit of quality emo-pop? Yes, to some of you that’ll be a bit of an oxymoron, but we’ve got a soft spot in our heart for Boston based quartet Boys Like Girls.

We’ve got a pair of guestlist tickets for Boys Like Girls when they play London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire on 26th April up for grabs for one lucky person….

So, what do you have to do to win? Well, it’s the classic competition entry – e-mail us at [email protected] and tell us why you should win, along with your name. The best answer (deemed by us) will win the pair of tickets. We’ll stop accepting entries at 8pm on the 22nd April, and let the winner know on the 23rd April.

One Republic / April 2010 UK Tour

By on Wednesday, 24th March 2010 at 9:00 am

Colorado stars One Republic have announced a string of dates this April around the UK. No doubt they will be playing songs from their second album released last year, Waking Up, which is full of those classic spine-tingling rock ballads, of strings and anthemic guitars that make the Script sound like they’re mere beginners.

If you go down to one of the shows, be sure to get down early to catch rising star Alex Gardner support – grab a free download of a demo he did recently below.
