So in the UK there is Bands in Transit, who film bands playing outside and/or in front of fans. America has Jam in the Van where, yep, you guessed it, bands play claustrophobic sets inside the said vehicles. Oberhofer take advantage of the intimacy in this performance on the Bonnaroo 2012 grounds for this version of ‘Away Frm U’. Watch it below.

I guess you can say Radiohead fans are completists. Going on from some kind soul providing a full gig video from their appearance at Coachella, someone’s done the same for their set at Bonnaroo over last weekend. This performance includes an airing of new song ‘Full Stop’ and ‘Supercollider’ being dedicated to Jack White. Watch it in HD below. The Guardian seems to think Thom Yorke and co. may be working with him and suggests there could be a possible future collaboration.

Fans and bands will be swarming around Manchester, come 9-12 June 2011. No, I’m not talking about Manchester, England – I’m referring to a pretty massive music festival in Manchester, Tennessee, called Bonnaroo. This year will be the festival’s 10th year in business.
It’s a little weird seeing American late night personality Conan O’Brien announce the acts; it’s like if Graham Norton was asked to read off the scheduled bands for Glasto. Still, it’s unique…and some of the names on the bill will blow you away. A reunited Buffalo Springfield (didn’t see that one coming at all), the Strokes, Mumford and Sons, the Black Keys, Gregg Allman, Scissor Sisters and Neil Young are just a handful of acts confirmed for the festival.
Tickets to this year’s Bonnaroo will go on sale this Saturday (19 February) at 12 PM ET (5 PM GMT), with ticket prices from $224.50 (approximately £139) and up. For more details, visit the official Bonnaroo Web site.
