Suede / Brixton Academy Shows / May 2011

Suede (with frontman Brett Anderson, pictured above)will be playing three nights straight, the 19th to the 21st of May, at Brixton Academy. These shows will be very special, as the band are scheduled to play their first three albums in full over the three consecutive nights – their self-titled 1993 debut, 1994’s ‘Dog Man Star’ and 1996’s ‘Coming Up’. Tickets are on sale now.

Franz Nicolay / January 2011 UK Tour

Franz Nicolay will be touring the UK in January with old mates Dave Hause (The Loved Ones/Fat Wreck Chords) and Jack Terricloth and Sandra Malak (World/Inferno Friendship Society). Nicolay recently toured as support for Stornoway in North America last month – you can read about his band’s appearance in Washington last month on this review at TGTF.

Maroon 5 / February 2010 UK Tour

American alt-rockers Maroon 5 will be returning to the UK in February. Piano songstress Sara Bareilles will be the support act. The band played a special set for Radio2 yesterday that you can listen to until next Thursday (16 September) here.

Maroon 5’s ‘comeback’ single, ‘Misery’, is released on Sunday (12 September) in the UK. Fans who preorder their forthcoming album ‘Hands All Over’ from HMV by 13th September will have special access to a fan presale starting on Thursday the 16th at 9 AM. The general ticket sale begins on Friday 17th September at 9 AM. Ticket are priced at £23.50, except for London (£25).
