Ah, yes, Chromeo. Back in November, I posted the hilarious video for the Canadian dance duo’s ‘Juice’. At the time, they were keeping mum on when its related album would see the light of day. Well, now we can tell you what’s coming up! ‘Head Over Heels’, Chromeo’s fifth album, will drop on the 15th of June on Big Beat / Atlantic, just in time to be a summer scorcher. Accompanying the album announcement is another track from the upcoming record, ‘Must’ve Been’, which also pulls in an unlikely collaborator: Hampton, Virginia soul singer DRAM. The promo video is, as is usual with these guys, terribly funny. Watch the video for ‘Must’ve Been’ below. For more on Chromeo here on TGTF, come through.

Things have been quiet on the Chromeo front since their last album. The funky Canadian dance duo – self-described as “the only successful Arab/Jewish partnership since the dawn of human culture” – released their fourth album ‘White Women’ in 2014. They are previewing their next album, ‘Head Over Heels’, with a new track, ‘Juice’. If you’re not familiar with this pair, you should know that they never take things too seriously and are supreme jokers. In this promo video, in which the two hang out in an orange grove and, er, get up some shenanigans to say the least, you can see just how comedic they are. We’re not sure when ‘Head Over Heels’ will drop, but we’ll definitely keep our eyes and ears peeled. For more of our coverage on Chromeo on TGTF, go here.

The latest video from Canadian dance duo Chromeo has some all-star cameos, including the Haim girls, as the story unfolds in a ‘Love is a Battlefield’ meets Coyote Ugly sendup. ‘Old 45’s’ appears on the band’s current album ‘White Women’, out now. Watch the promo below.

Chromeo have a very groovy new video for the super catchy ‘Jealous (I Ain’t With It)’, off their forthcoming un-PC titled album ‘White Women’. What would you do if you ran into the duo in a wedding chapel in Sin City? You will have some idea by watching the video below.

What happens when you let the Chromeo boys out to play with Toro Y Moi? This video for ‘Come Alive’, a spoof of cult ’80s film Mannequin. Groovy. Watch it below.

Chromeo‘s video for ‘When the Night Falls’ was released last summer, and boy, was it a hoot. You can revisit the song again with this remix by Mackintosh Braun, which retains the slinkiness of the original but cranks up the bass to eleven. Listen to and download the new version below.
