Drenge / January and February 2015 English Tour

Sheffield rock duo Drenge have just announced their first live shows of 2015, leading into their NME Awards Show appearance in London next February. Tickets for the following shows, including headline dates in Leeds and Manchester, are available now.

Drenge released their self-titled debut album in August 2013. You can read Martin’s Bands to Watch feature on them right here.

DJ Shadow and Cut Chemist / February 2015 English Tour

DJ Shadow and Cut Chemist will bring their collaborative Renegades of Rhythm tour to England in February, hot on the heels of their recent highly-acclaimed North American tour. The pair of world-renowned turntable artists will be spinning the vinyl collection of hip-hop icon Afrika Bambaataa in their onstage set, which will include the visual talents of multimedia producer Ben Stokes. The Cribs / February 2015 UK Tour

The Cribs have just announced a string of February 2015 tour dates built around their sold out NME Awards Show appearance at the Electric Ballroom in London. The band are due to release their sixth studio album next year as well; Gary Jarman explains that “these shows were planned as the perfect way for us to debut many of the new songs and a great opportunity to give our hardcore fanbase a chance to hear these songs first in an intimate setting”.

Tickets for the following dates (except London) are on sale today, Wednesday, the 17th of December, at 9 AM. The dates precede the band’s scheduled appearance at SXSW 2015 in March in Austin, Texas.

East Midlands band Amber Run recently announced a February 2015 UK tour. I bet you’re wondering what this has to do with TGTF. Our good friends at Gigs and Tours have given us two pairs to the Manchester Deaf Institute date on Sunday, the 1st of February, and we’re wanting to give them away now to two lucky TGTF readers. It’s another one of our early Christmas gifts to you all. Want to enter? All the details on how are below.

First fill in your full name and your email address so we can contact you if you win. Then to make sure you are an Amber Run fan, tell us what city the band are from. (Need help? You can read our past coverage of the group, or maybe you happen to know that they are from the same city as Dog is Dead?) We will then choose three winners of all the correct entries received.

Irish pop heroes Kodaline have just announced a new UK tour for February and March 2015. Tickets go on sale this Friday, the 12th of December, at 9 AM. Get ’em while they’re hot!

Bingley metal quintet Marmozets have just announced their largest UK headline tour to date, including shows in London, Manchester and Newcastle. Support acts for Marmozets’ February headline tour will be Steak Number Eight and Thought Forms. Tickets for the following shows will go on sale this Friday, the 12th of December, at 9 AM.
