Los Angeles’s Funeral Party will be touring the UK (plus dates in Dublin and Belfast) starting Tuesday through the middle of February. Support will be from London/Brighton band Flashguns, who we’ve been championing for a while here on TGTF.

Funeral Party from Los Angeles has released a promo video for ‘Finale’. This single will be released in the UK on 17 January 2011, with their album ‘The Golden Age of Nowhere’ to follow a week later, 24 January.

The same day the album is released, Funeral Party will be playing a New to Q show with Kid Adrift and Liz Lawrence at London’s Bush Hall. Following on from that date, the band will tour the UK through the middle of February, details here.

New to Q Sessions / January 2011

The line-ups for the second annual New to Q Sessions, to take place at London’s Bush Hall in early 2011, have been announced. Five special shows have been scheduled for the week of the 24th to the 28th of January 2011. Though the presale already started on Tuesday, general tickets go on sale at 9 AM tomorrow (12th November). The bands playing are listed below; you’ll definitely recognise some TGTF favourites in there.
