Fear of Men / April 2016 UK Tour

Hot on the heels of their trip to Austin for SXSW 2016, Brighton trio Fear of Men will play a list of headline dates in the UK starting next week, including a hometown show at Brighton’s Prince Albert on the 10th of April.  The tour will serve as a preview for band’s second album ‘Fall Forever’, due out on the 3rd of June via Kanine Records. Following these tour dates, Fear of Men will headline the Dials Festival in Portsmouth on the 23rd of April. Tickets for these shows are available now.  TGTF’s past coverage of Fear of Men is right back here.

Spring King / May 2016 English Tour

Garage rock / pop band Spring King have announced a May 2016 headline tour of England, which concludes with a show at London Scala on the 26th presented by DIY. The Manchester group recently revealed the promo video for ‘Rectifier’, their newest single; we posted the vid in this previous Video of the Moment feature. Tickets to this tour are on sale now. The band have also been announced for the bills of both Live at Leeds on the 20th of April and the Great Escape on the 19th of May.

Treetop Flyers / April and May 2016 UK Tour

London folk-rock five-piece Treetop Flyers have announced a spring tour of the UK to follow the release of their sophomore LP ‘Palomino’.  The album is due out on the 11th of March on Loose Records and will include the single ’31 Years’, whose video is featured below the tour date listing.

Fickle Friends / February and March 2016 UK Tour

The ink is barely dry on their newly-signed contract with Polydor Records, but Brighton indie pop band Fickle Friends have just announced a lengthy list of UK tour dates for February and March.  The tour will include a headline show at the Sheffield Leadmill on the 26th of February and a Leap Day gig at Edinburgh’s Electric Circus, before ending with a hometown date on the 12th of March.

Support for select dates will be played by Liverpool rock quartet Clean Cut Kid.  Following these live dates, both bands are scheduled to head across the pond to Austin for SXSW 2016.  Stay tuned for our upcoming Bands to Watch feature, which will cover Fickle Friends and Clean Cut Kid in more detail.

Get Inuit / January and February 2016 UK Tour

Self-described “dirty pop” quartet Get Inuit are about to embark on a tour of the UK, starting next week and extending through the beginning of February.  Dubbed the ‘Luge Lessons’ Tour 2016, the shows are in support of the band’s most recent EP, but they will likely also feature several new tunes, including the raucous recently released single ‘My Oh My’.  You can listen to that track just below the tour date listing; if you like what you hear, head over to Get Inuit’s official Web site, where you can download the song in exchange for adding your e-mail address to their mailing list.

Holy Esque / March, April and May 2016 UK Tour

Scottish rock quartet Holy Esque have planned a list of tour dates in the UK to follow the release of their forthcoming debut LP ‘At Hope’s Ravine’. The album is scheduled for release on the 26th of February via the band’s own record label Beyond the Frequency. Just below the tour date listing, you can have a listen to album track ‘Silences’, which was also part of Holy Esque’s recent double A-sided release.

Holy Esque will play three in-store shows immediately following the album release, including one on Leap Day, the 29th of February. They will head to America for SXSW 2016 in March, with the full UK tour beginning on the 6th of April.  At the end of their UK run, Holy Esque are scheduled to appear at The Great Escape 2016 in May.  Tickets for the following shows are available now.
