Live Gig Video: General Fiasco perform ‘Brother Is’ at Belfast Start Together studios

It’s been a while since we’ve heard from the General Fiasco chaps. They released their second album ‘Unfaithfully Yours’ this past summer, and it looks like right before it was released, they recorded this live version of ‘Brother Is’ from the album at Belfast’s Start Together studios and it’s only now seen the light of day. Muse / May and June 2013 English Tour

Rock behemoths Muse have announced a short arena tour of England for late May into early June, right before festival season is in full swing. Tickets go on sale this Friday (23 November).

The Stone Roses / June 2013 UK Tour

The Stone Roses‘ very short (for now) UK tour will stop at London’s Finsbury Park and Glasgow Green next June. Tickets go on sale this Friday, the 2nd of November, at 9:30 AM.

Live Gig Video: The Very Best perform a unique gig at the Shacklewell Arms in Dalston

What do you do when the singer of your band can’t enter a country and you’ve got a gig scheduled? You do some crazy planning like the Very Best did for their first-ever appearance in London, at Dalston’s Shacklewell Arms. Ahead of time, singer Esau Mwamwaya (unable to enter the UK on his Malawi passport) worked with a technical team from AnalogFolk, who all flew to Mwamwaya’s hometown of Lilongwe and filmed the singer on a green screen. This came together with the rest of the act’s live show in Dalston, and you can watch the behind the scenes footage below.

Live Gig Video: two from Films of Colour play an acoustic version of ‘Running’ for Noize Makes Enemies

Andy Clutterbuck (on guitar) and James Hatcher (on ukelele) of TGTF 10 for 2012 winning band Films of Colour were recently filmed by Noize Makes Enemies for the below video. Settling in on a sofa out in the sun, the pair performed this acoustic version of ‘Running’ splendidly. Watch it below.
