KT Tunstall / May 2017 UK Tour

Scottish singer/songwriter and now L.A. transplant KT Tunstall has announced a new UK tour for next spring. Tunstall just released her fifth studio album ‘KIN’ in September, out now on Virgin EMI. (Read Rebecca’s review of the artist’s LP through here.) She finished a tour of most larger markets of the UK 2 weeks ago. Admirably, Tunstall has announced another UK tour for next May, this time for different, mostly smaller towns in between her bigger stops the last time around. Kaiser Chiefs / February and March 2017 UK Tour

The next thing you know, Kaiser Chiefs will be releasing their newest album. ‘Stay Together’, their sixth, will be released on the 7th of October on Fiction Records / Caroline International. Following the album’s unveiling to the public, they will also be touring. They’ve just announced a new UK arena tour for February and March 2017. Tickets will go on sale next Friday, the 26th of August, at 9 AM.

They previously released LP single ‘Parachute’, which garnered mixed response from fans who were surprised – or energised – by their new, shinier pop direction. James / May 2016 UK Tour

Veteran Manchester rock band James will launch the UK leg of their ‘Girl at the End of the World’ Tour this May, following the 18th March release of their album by the same name. The band will also play two shows ahead of the release, one on the 17th of February at the Manchester Academy (which is already sold out) and one the 18th of February at the Scala in London.

Frank Turner / November 2015 UK Tour

Frank Turner has just announced details of a UK headline tour for this November to follow the release of his upcoming sixth album ‘Positive Songs for Negative People’, due out on the 7th of August via Xtra Mile Recordings and Polydor Records.  The album was recorded with Turner’s backing band The Sleeping Souls, who will accompany him on tour, and produced in Nashville by Butch Walker.  “I feel like this record is my definitive statement, a summation of the first five records,” says Turner.  You can watch the official video for the album’s first single’The Next Storm’ just below the tour date listing

After a summer festival season including scheduled appearances at Glastonbury, Latitude and Reading and Leeds, Turner will spend September and October touring in North America.  A complete list of Turner’s upcoming shows can be found here.  Tickets for the following list of UK live dates will go on general sale tomorrow, Friday the 19th of June, at 9 AM.

Dance-rap-rock star Example is set to bring his multi-faceted live show on a lengthy 26-stop tour of the UK this autumn, following the release of his upcoming single ’10 Million People’, due out on the 5th of October. The new track is taken from Example’s recent Top Ten album ‘Live Life Living’, which was reviewed here by our David back in July.
