The hugely talented singer / songwriter is embarking on the sizeable UK tour backed up by her band.

The DykeeniesI’d heard friends rave about the Dykeenies befor, but had never really listened to them before until today. With a bit of time on my hands, I checked them out this afternoon and was mightily impressed.

They’re a five-pronged sensory assault of sex, synths and glamour with hooks so monumental they could be used to mount the scalps of lesser peers onto their living room wall. Yes, really that good. Pop punk at it’s best, really catchy, feelgood and enjoyable.

Aaaand to top it all off they’re on tour in March around the UK – tickets are on sale for all dates now. Tickets are £7 for all English dates except London which is £9, and £9.50 for Scottish dates

Hundred Reasons / March and April 2009 UK Tour

Hundred ReasonsHundred Reasons have announced a string of tour dates for next spring around the UK. The tour dates will be their first for 14 months, and co-incides with the re-release of their fourth album ‘Quick The Word, Sharp The Action’ through the band’s own label / PIAS, which garnered rave reviews on its short-lived original release.

Tickets are £11 for all dates except for London which is £13 a ticket.

Boy CrisisNews of the first Wonky Pop tour of 2009 has been announced. The successful series of tours, which this year featured the likes of Alphabeat, Sam Sparro and Frankmusic, will feature two of the most hotly tipped names for 2009 – the amazing Dan Black (pictured top) and New Yorkers Boy Crisis (pictured right).

The tour whih goes the length and breadth of the UK, will see the two BBC Sound of 2009 nominated artists embark on their first major tour.

Tickets are on sale now for some dates, and go on sale tomorrow (Monday 15th) for the rest of the dates.

School Of Seven Bells / February and March 2009 UK Tour

Hotly tipped New Yorkers School of Seven Bells have announced a string of tour dates for next February and March. Formed by ex-Secret Machines guitarist Benjamin Curtis and former On! Air! Library! sisters Alejandra and Claudia Deheza, the trio will play 6 UK shows and one in Ireland before moving across the channel to slowly conquer Europe.

Tickets are on sale now, around £6.50 to £7.50 each.
