Stornoway / April and May 2015 UK Tour

Oxford band Stornoway have revealed a full April and May 2015 UK tour. This follows on from their previously announced date at London Islington Assembly Hall on the 23rd of April, and their most recent sold out performances at Oxford Sheldonian Theatre in November. All dates below except for the London show will be on sale this Friday, the 12th of December. The band will also be making at appearance at 2015 festival Live at Leeds.

Stornoway’s third album, with a title yet to be revealed, was produced by Gil Norton (Pixies, Pulled Apart By Horses, Foo Fighters, Twin Atlantic) and is expected to drop sometime in April 2015. Previous coverage of the band on TGTF is this way.

Manic Street Preachers / May and June 2015 UK Tour

In response to their already sold out December tour dates, Manic Street Preachers have announced four new UK dates for next spring. The shows are a 20th anniversary celebration of the band’s acclaimed third album ‘The Holy Bible’, which they will play in full for the first time on this tour. T

heir new deluxe box set of the album, released earlier this week, includes BBC recordings of Manic Street Preachers‘ December 1994 Astoria shows, the last dates played with guitarist Richey Edwards. Manic Street Preachers have released two new albums in the past 2 years, ‘Rewind the Film’ in September 2013 and ‘Futurology’ in July 2014. Tickets for the following shows will be available this Friday, the 12th of December, at 9 AM.

Hozier / May and June 2015 UK Tour

Irish blues rock phenomenon Hozier has announced five new live dates for next spring, following on his already sold out winter tour of the UK. The sold out shows include rescheduled dates for Oxford and Birmingham as well as two shows at Shepherds Bush Empire in London. The newly-announced spring tour will begin in Newcastle on the 22nd of May and finish with Hozier’s biggest live show to date at the London Roundhouse on the 1st of June.

Tickets for the May and June shows will be available starting Friday the 12th of December at 9 AM. A full listing of Hozier‘s upcoming UK tour dates can be found below.

The Districts from Pennsylvania will be in the UK and Ireland for a few dates in the spring. They will be touring in support of new album ‘A Flourish and a Spoil’, out on the 9th of February 2015 on Fat Possum Records. Tickets go on sale tomorrow, Friday the 5th of December.

London folk-punk sextet Skinny Lister have just revealed the details of their new album ‘Down on Deptford Broadway’. along with a list of 14 headline dates for next spring, which will follow the band’s scheduled appearance at SXSW 2015. The new LP is due for release via Xtra Mile Recordings on the 20th of April 2015, just two days before the tour opens at Birmingham Rainbow. Tickets for the following shows are available now.

Cheltenham six-piece Young Kato have just unveiled the details of their highly anticipated debut LP ‘Don’t Wait Until Tomorrow’, along with a listing of tour dates in support of the album. ‘Don’t Wait Until Tomorrow’ is due for release on the 5th of April 2015, just before the band sets out to play the following live shows, which will include a date at the Camden Barfly in London.
