Hailing from London, Tourist is the stage name of electronic artist William Phillips. You will no doubt be hearing more about him in the coming months, as he was one of many UK acts announced on the second SXSW 2014 band announcement list in mid-November. But first, to get acquainted with his style, why not download an EP of his for free? Noisetrade is offering up his debut EP ‘Placid Acid’ in exchange for your email address here.

Hatcham Social drummer Finnigan Kidd has a new solo project now, called Blue Moon. We’ve just been tipped off to a new four-track EP, probably best described as sombre yet beautifully atmospheric, that’s absolutely, positively free to you. Listen to the tracks in the player below, and if you like the music and fancy getting the super limited edition coloured cassette (ooh), that’s only 5 quid. Cheap as chips. For more information on purchasing, visit Blue Moon’s Bandcamp.

You’ve never heard Fenech-Soler like this. Or at least I certainly haven’t. ‘Quick As They Run’ is an outtake from their current ‘Rituals’, and I can see why they did not include it on there. On the flip side, I can see someone who likes harder rock (paging John Fernandez…) enjoying this bit of anarchy a little too much. Have a listen and grab it for your very own from the Soundcloud widget below.

Eclectic singer and electronic and guitar artist Sivu is currently on tour supporting TGTF friends Stornoway. No rest for the weary though; straight after the Stornoway tour, he will on a co-headlining tour with Marika Hackman that begins on the 10th of December in Brighton.
Ahead of that tour, here is a free download of a track he and Marika collaborated on, called ‘I Hold’. It all adds up to a Sivu lends electro eeriness to the track, while Miss Hackman provides her usual style of dreamy vocals. Haunting. Listen to and grab it for free below.

New York City band the Postelles had gone quiet since the release of their second album ‘And It Shook Me’, released here in America in April. But I’m very pleased to announce the boys are back, and they’re being so sweet by giving away this free mp3 of new-ish song ‘On My Shoulder’. I say new-ish, because I know I’ve heard this song live before, it’s just been a while, but I’m happy it’s finally seeing the light of day. And now you can have the song for absolulely free. Have a listen below and if you like it, you can download it too.
And oh yeah, for those who celebrate it – HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Victoria Hesketh, better known by her stage name Little Boots, is offering something very special to her fans. Previously only available on limited edition vinyl, the free to download mp3s are the extended ‘nocturnal’ edits of tracks ‘Strangers’ and ‘Broken Record’, both appearing in their ‘normal’ forms on her second album ‘Nocturnes’ released back in the spring. Listen to and download the tracks below.
