High Hazels / November and December 2014 UK Tour

Sheffield quartet High Hazels will be heading out on tour next month in support of their upcoming debut album, due for release on the 27th of October via Heist or Hit Records. Irish singer/songwriter duo the Lost Brothers have announced a lengthy tour of Ireland and the UK for this autumn, following on the release of their fourth LP ‘New Songs of Dawn and Dust’, which our own editor Mary reviewed here. Gerard Way, formerly of My Chemical Romance fame, has announced his first solo tour of the UK for this November, including a date at London Koko. The tour is in support of Way’s solo album ‘Hesitant Alien’, which is due out on Monday, the 29th of September. Our recent review of the album’s first single, ‘No Shows’, is right here. Pop duo the Ting Tings are back in action with a new single, aptly named ‘Do It Again’, and a list of tour dates for this November. ‘Do It Again’, from the pair’s upcoming album ‘Super Critical’, is available for purchase now, but you can preview it below the tour date listing.

Leading into the November tour, the Ting Tings will play at the Oxjam Launch on the 29th of September at Shoreditch Town Hall in London. Tickets for the following dates are on sale now.

Following on their recent North American tour, Counting Crows have announced a string of shows in the UK for this November, including two already sold out dates at the London Roundhouse. Their latest album ‘Somewhere Under Wonderland’ is out now on Capitol Records/Virgin EMI. You can get a sneak preview by viewing the lyric video for ‘Earthquake Driver’ below the tour date listing.

Cocos Lovers / October 2014 English Tour

Indie alt-folk collective Cocos Lovers have just announced a list of October tour dates with fellow folkies Hot Feet. In addition to the following dates, the two bands will appear at the Homegrown Festival in Bury St. Edmunds and the Carefully Planned Festival in Manchester on the 18th and 19th of October, respectively. They will wrap up the tour with a late November show at the Canterbury Gulbenkian. Tickets for these dates are available now.
