Communion New Faces / November 2015 English Tour

Communion Music is gearing up for the latest installment of their New Faces tour, commencing in November. Last year’s lineup starred Kimberly Anne and Amber Run, both of whom have done splendidly since their star turns on the Communion-supported stage.

This autumn’s series in venues across England will star haunting pop duo Seafret (pictured at top), guitar-pop group Flyte, Shrewsbury-born singer/songwriter Dan Owen and Brighton singer/songwriter Jack Watts. Tickets to this tour are on sale now.

Bring Me the Horizon / November 2015 UK Tour

Sheffield quintet Bring Me the Horizon have announced a short run of live shows for this November, including a date at London’s Alexandra Palace on the 28th of the month.  The band’s fifth album ‘That’s the Spirit’ is due out on the 11th of September, and the video for their latest single ‘Throne’ was featured right here back in July.

Tickets for the following shows go on general sale tomorrow, Friday the 4th of September, at 9 AM.  TGTF’s previous coverage of Bring Me the Horizon is back this way.

The Maccabees / November 2015 and January 2016 UK Tour

Following their weekend appearances at the Reading and Leeds Festivals, the Maccabees have announced a lengthy list of winter tour dates in support of their recent album ‘Marks to Prove It’.  The 13-date tour will start in Nottingham on the 18th of November and, after a holiday break in December, will end with two nights at London Brixton Academy on the 21st and 22nd of January 2016.

Mumford and Sons / November and December 2015 UK and Irish Tour

During the encore of their Friday night headline set at Reading Festival, folk rock favourites Mumford and Sons took the opportunity to announce an 11-date arena tour of the UK and Ireland. The newly unveiled live dates will include a two-night run at London O2 on the 9th and 10th of December before the tour closes in Glasgow on the 13th. The support slot for all dates except the 10th of December will be played by Jack Garratt.

Mumford and Sons released their album ‘Wilder Mind’ earlier this year on Island/Glassnote. TGTF’s previous coverage of Mumford and Sons, including two singles from ‘Wilder Mind’, can be found right back here. Tickets for the following shows will be available for general sale this coming Friday, the 4th of September, at 9 AM.

Scouting for Girls / November and December 2015 UK Tour

Indie pop trio Scouting for Girls have announced a massive list of UK tour dates to follow the release of their new LP ‘Still Thinking About You’, due out on the 16th of October via East West Records. Frontman Roy Stride says of the new album, “we’ve embraced what people love about this band and we’ve made the ultimate Scouting For Girls record.” You can judge for yourself by streaming the audio for the album’s first single ‘Life’s Too Short’ just below the tour date listing.

Foals / November 2015 UK Tour

In anticipation of their upcoming fourth studio album, Foals have announced a run of live dates in the UK for this November.  The new LP, titled ‘What Went Down’, is due for release on the 28th of August via Warner Brothers, and Foals will usher it into the world tonight (Tuesday the 25th of August) with a special album launch show at London’s Village Underground.

The following run of dates will make up Foals’ first UK club tour since February of last year and will include the unique ‘By the Sea’ event at Dreamland Margate, hosted by Moshi Moshi Records and rockfeedback.  Tickets for that event sold out within hours of going on sale, but tickets for Foals’ other live dates are available now.
