Prides‘ forthcoming single and firm live fan favourite ‘Out of the Blue’ now has a music video. As should be expected, the colour blue gets its day in this promo, though there’s a lot strange goings-on in here that will keep you guessing round every turn. Watch the visual for the foot-stomping single, out on the 8th of December, below.

The Glasgow trio will be on tour in the UK in October.

Glaswegian synthpop band Prides have a new video for “I Should Know You Better’. According to the promo, the yeti of our nightmares is actually a pretty cool dude. Sadly, as happens too often, humankind becomes scared of things it knows nothing about. Watch the video below.

The trio have chosen to put their own spin on the Cyndi Lauper ’80s tearjerker classic ‘Time After Time’, deciding to take a stripped back route. Listen to the free download exclusively here on TGTF below and if you like it, you can take it home with you too.

Prides recently filmed this lovely stripped back version of their single ‘Messiah’ for London Web site SBTV, and here are the results. I wasn’t sure how this was going to turn out, since Prides is known for being a high energy synthpop band, but this is actually pretty awesome! Watch it below.

All our coverage on the Glaswegian band is this way. Watch the promo video for ‘Messiah’ in this previous Video of the Moment.

MP3 of the Day #831: Prides

By on Wednesday, 4th June 2014 at 10:00 am

Well, this is certainly something different than what I’m used to seeing! Scottish electropop band Prides just finished touring as support for Foxes, and they’re so high on life right now, they want to reward people who went to see them live on the tour – and fine music-loving people like yourself! – with a surprise cover they’ve done.

Keen? Pop your email address in here for the surprise download. Not sure how long they’re running this promotion, so best be hasty.
