Video of the Moment #2284: Regina Spektor

Regina Spektor released her newest album last autumn. ‘Remember Us to Life’, the seventh full-length album from the Soviet Union-born but now American singer/songwriter. In a Video of the Moment spot around Thanksgiving 2016, we previously featured the promo of her single ‘Bleeding Heart’. Now we’ve got the video for ‘Black and White’. Her love of all things cinematic comes through in this new promo, which sees a ballerina dance behind the scenes at a theatre to Spektor’s voice and piano playing. Watch the video below. ‘Remember Us to Life’ is available now from Sire/Warner Brothers. To read more on Regina Spektor on TGTF, go here.

Earlier this month, Regina Spektor performed on a short tour of England. The live dates were to support her newest LP ‘Remember Us to Life’, Spektor’s seventh full-length release that was unveiled in full in September. ‘Bleeding Heart’ is a single cut from the album, and she’s revealed a unique promo video.

Taking her father’s painstaking photos of her posing or playing the piano, the promo directed by Jack Dishel and starring animation and illustrations from Chris Tucci shows the young Spektor interacting with the present day artist. Watch the unusual video below. ‘Remember Us to Life’ is available now from Sire/Warner Brothers. For more on Regina Spektor on TGTF, use this link.
