San Cisco / September 2015 English Tour

Australian indie pop quartet San Cisco will return to the UK this September for a brief run of live dates around the release of their next single ‘Magic’.  ‘Magic’ appears on San Cisco’s second album ‘Gracetown’, which was released on the 6th of April.  You can watch the new video for ‘Magic’ just below the tour date listing.

Tickets for the following shows go on sale this Friday, the 12th of June, at 10 AM.  On that same day, San Cisco will begin a North American tour before returning to Australia for scheduled live dates in July.

Rat Boy / September and October 2015 UK Tour

Essex producer / songwriter / multi-instrumentalist Rat Boy has announced an autumn headline tour of the UK to follow his April support slot with Circa Waves and his scheduled summer festival appearances, which will include Reading and Leeds.  The teenaged Rat Boy, known to his mum as Jordan Cardy, shared production duties for his debut single ‘Sign On’ with Gorillaz producer James Dring.  The track was released via Hometown Records on the 1st of June.

PINS / September 2015 UK Tour

Manchester garage rock quartet PINS have recently evolved into a quintet with the addition of keyboard player Kyoko Swan to their lineup.  The now five-piece PINS released their second album ‘Wild Nights’ today (the 8th of June) on Bella Union.  After playing live dates in America throughout June, PINS will return to the UK for a run of headline shows this September.  Tickets for the September shows listed below are on sale now.

Leon Bridges / July and September 2015 UK Tour

American soul singer Leon Bridges has announced a short list of UK headline dates for the first part of July, as well as a one-off show at Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London at the end of September. The July dates will follow the release of his debut LP ‘Coming Home’, due out on the 22nd of June on Columbia Records, and will precede Bridges’ scheduled appearances at the Latitude and Citadel Festivals.

Bridges and his extensive band appeared earlier this year at SXSW 2015, where I saw them on the Communion Music showcase at St. David’s Episcopal Church. Below the tour date listing, you can stream the audio for one of the songs Bridges played that night, ‘River’, which is also the latest single from ‘Coming Home’. Liverpool synth-pop trio Stealing Sheep, who just released a new album ‘Not Real’ this month, are about to embark on a short list of live dates in May ahead of their scheduled appearance at Liverpool Sound City 2015. Natalie Prass / June and September 2015 UK Tour

American alt-country ingenue Natalie Prass will play two sets of headline dates in the UK later this year after touring earlier in the year with alt-rocker Ryan Adams.  You can read my previous glowing review of Prass’ live set at SXSW 2015 right here, and an equally enthusiastic recap of her show with Adams at the Rialto Theatre in Tucson, Arizona.

The following June shows are part of a short European tour, while the September dates will precede Prass’ scheduled appearance at the End of the Road Festival. A full listing of Prass’ live dates can be found on her official Web site. Tickets for the dates listed below are available now.
