Wolf Alice / September 2015 UK Tour

Fresh off a 3-week tour of the UK from late March into mid-April, the Wolf Alice train doesn’t seem to be showing any signs of slowing down. They’ve just announced another UK tour for September 2015 to follow the release of their debut album ‘My Love is Cool’, which will be released on Dirty Hit Records on the 22nd of June. Tickets for the new tour will go on sale this Friday, the 1st of May. Below the dates, have a listen to the retool of their track ‘Bros’.

Alvvays / August and September 2015 UK Tour

Canadian alt-pop band and SXSW 2015 alums Alvvays have just announced a late summer tour of the UK around their already scheduled festival appearances at this year’s Reading and Leeds, Ireland’s Electric Picnic and the End of the Road festival. The tour will culminate with the band’s previously announced live dates in Manchester and London.

Tickets for the following shows go on sale tomorrow, Wednesday the 1st of April, except for the Manchester and London shows, which are available now. Previous Alvvays coverage on TGTF is this way.

Hot on the heels of his recent album release, James Bay has announced an autumn tour of the UK and Ireland in addition to his previously scheduled April tour dates. Bay’s LP ‘Chaos and the Calm’ came out last week, just after his appearances at SXSW 2015 in Austin, Texas. If you missed it, you can read my review of ‘Chaos and the Calm’ right here.

King Crimson / August and September 2015 UK Tour

Prog rock veterans King Crimson have announced an autumn tour of the UK with a brand new lineup comprising Gavin Harrison (drums), Bill Rieflin (drums), Pat Mastelotto (drums), Tony Levin (bass and vocals), Mel Collins (sax, flute), Jakko Jakszyk (guitar, vocals) and Robert Fripp (guitar). The live dates include two dates each at Friars Aylesbury Waterside Theatre and London’s Hackney Empire. Tickets for the following shows go on sale tomorrow, Friday the 6th of February, at 9 AM.

Alvvays / January and September 2015 UK Tour

Canadian alt-pop quintet Alvvays have had an impressive year in 2014, with their self-titled debut album listed among NME’s Albums of the Year and their singles ‘Archie, Marry Me’ and ‘Next of Kin’ making the A-list on BBC 6music. You can watch the video for ‘Next of Kin’ at the bottom of the page; the full album is out now via Transgressive Records.

Alvvays are set to begin 2015 with a tour of the UK and have already sold out their January shows in Manchester and London. But if you missed out, have no fear, as the band have just announced a second show in each of those cities for next September. Tickets for the following dates are available now.
