Colour me curious but I did some research on Brooklyn psychedelic electroduo the Hundred in the Hands after they were announced (along with Delphic) as an opener for the Temper Trap‘s extensive North American tour this autumn.
Think Chairlift or possibly School of Seven Bells if they were more dance. They’re not as overtly poppy as La Roux or Little Boots, so if you have a problem with the commercialism of either of those acts, have a listen to this track, ‘Pigeons’. Nice groove.
Their self-titled debut album on Warp Records is expected to drop on 20 September.
