The Academic / October 2016 UK Tour

Mulligar, Ireland indie rock band The Academic have announced a trio of headline dates in the UK in October. The band have already supported the likes of Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Catfish and the Bottlemen and Circa Waves, and now they’re ready to make their very own mark on Britain. Tickets to the following three shows in Glasgow, Birmingham and London in October are on sale now.

KT Tunstall / October and November 2016 UK/Irish Tour

Scottish songstress KT Tunstall has announced a list of autumn tour dates in the UK and Ireland to accompany the release of her new EP ‘Golden State’. Tunstall signed to the newly relaunched Caroline Records back in February and is expected to release a full album later this year. Her current ‘Golden State’ EP is digital-only, except for a physical CD release exclusive to Barnes & Noble stores in the United States. Rat Boy / September 2016 UK Tour

Hip-hop/punk artist and producer Rat Boy (aka Jordan Cardy) has announced a new set of headline dates for this September, following on from last year’s successful headline tour and his appearance on the NME Awards Tour at the start of 2016. Leading into the new September dates, Rat Boy is also scheduled to make summer festival appearances at Glastonbury this weekend, Latitude, and Reading and Leeds.

PAWS / June and July 2016 UK Tour

Glasgow indie rock trio PAWS will head out on a full headline tour of the UK this week, accompanied by fellow Scottish indie pop band The Spook School. The tour is set to begin with four shows in Scotland and will include a London date on Saturday the 2nd of July. PAWS released their third album ‘No Grace’ last Friday the 17th of June via FatCat Records; you can watch the video for its title track just below the tour date listing.

Good Charlotte / August 2016 UK Tour

Pop-punk icons Good Charlotte have announced short list of live dates in the UK around their appearances at Reading and Leeds Festivals in August. The band’s new comeback album ‘Youth Authority’ is due out on the 15th of July via MDDN / Kobalt. You can check out the tongue-in-cheek video for the album’s first single ’40 oz. Dream’ just below the tour date listing.

Good Charlotte are scheduled to play at Leeds on Friday the 26th of August and at Reading on Sunday the 28th, with the three headline dates happening around those performances. Support for Good Charlotte’s August headline shows will be played by Waterparks, Big Jesus and Roam (Birmingham only).

Oklahoman band BRONCHO are gearing up to release their third album at the end of this week. ‘Double Vanity’, the garage punk rockers’ follow-up to 2014’s ‘Just Enough Hip to Be Woman’, will see the light of day on the 17th of June on Dine Alone Records. The Americans will be heading across the pond for a string of live dates this autumn. The gigs listed below are all on sale now.
