Rat Boy / January and February 2018 UK/Irish Tour

Hip-hop/punk artist Rat Boy will open 2018 with a headline tour of the UK and Ireland. He’ll supporting his newly released album ‘Scum’. Described musically as being “like the Beastie Boys for the Brexit generation”, ‘Scum’ is out now on Parlophone Records and features the recent single ‘Laidback’. Everything Everything / February and March 2018 UK/Irish Tour

Following the release of their fourth album less than a fortnight ago, Everything Everything have announced a new UK and Irish tour, their biggest to date, for next year. The Manchester-based band will be taking ‘A Fever Dream’, out now on RCA Records, on the road in February and March. (You can read my review of the long player through here.) The tour kicks off at the venerated Dublin Olympia on the 28th of February 2018, then continues on in blighty 2 days later. The jaunt culminates in a show at London Alexandra Palace on the 10th of March. Picture This / October and November 2017 UK/Irish Tour

Irish pop/rock duo Picture This will play a run of live dates in the UK and Ireland this autumn, in support of their debut self-titled LP, released on the 25th of August via Republic Records/Universal. (You can read our review of the album that posted yesterday here.) The tour will open in Belfast and include a stop at London Shepherd’s Bush Empire, before closing with back-to-back shows in Dublin and Killarney.

London electro musician/vocalist Ghostpoet has announced a long run of tour dates in Ireland and the UK for this autumn, to follow the release of his fourth studio album ‘Dark Days + Canapes’. ICYMI, we’ve already featured two singles from the forthcoming LP, ‘Immigrant Boogie’ back in May and more recently, ‘Freakshow’. Autobahn / November 2017 UK Tour

Leeds post-punks Autobahn have an announced an extensive UK tour for this November. The tour follows the release of their second album, ‘The Moral Crossing’ on the 3rd of November. This is the follow-up to their debut LP ‘Dissemble’, which came out in 2015 on Tough Love Records. Tickets to this new tour are on sale now. Jake Bugg / November 2017 UK/Irish Tour

Folk rock wunderkind Jake Bugg has just announced a November tour of the UK and Ireland to support his forthcoming third LP ‘Hearts That Strain’. Recorded in Nashville with producers David Ferguson and Matt Sweeney, the new album is due for release on the 1st of September on Virgin EMI. Its sweetly mellow first single ‘How Soon the Dawn’ features a musical collaboration between Bugg and Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys. Bugg’s November tour dates will follow a slew of summer festival shows, including a scheduled appearance at the On Blackheath Festival on Sunday the 10th of September.
