Hard-Fi / Album Launch show

Hard-FiThings are heating up for Hard-Fi as they announce that they’ll be playing a special one off gig to celebrate their new album launch.

They’ll be playing Virgin Megastore on Oxford Street in London on Sunday 2nd/3rd September at midnight. The band will be performing live as well as signing copies of the brand new album “Once Upon A Time In The West” fresh from release.

Dandy Warhols / One off London show

Dandy WarholsThe Dandy Warhols have announced their only UK date of the year. The Bohemian Like You stars have said it will be their only headlining date of the year as they finalise their new album back home in Portland, USA.

Catch them at the Electric Ballroom on Tuesday October 2nd.

Tickets are on sale now and are selling rapidly (See tickets have already sold out their allocation, only those scumbags at Ticketmaster have any left). They’re £22.50 each.

V Festival 2008 tickets on sale tomorrow

V FestivalAs can usually be expected, V Festival tickets for the 2008 event go on sale tomorrow morning (Tuesday 21st August) until midnight next Tuesday (28th August). This initial allocation is strictly limited, so get there before the touts do!

Tickets will be available priced at £110 for the weekend or £130 for camping, There will also be a limited number of camper van pitches available at £50 per pitch.

V Festival takes place at Staffordshire’s Weston Park and Chelmsford’s Hylands Park on Saturday and Sunday 16th & 17th August 2008.


Magic Numbers / One off London Show

Those cheeky chappies The Magic Numbers have announced an exclusive one off gig on Monday 3rd September at Boogaloo in Highgate, North London.

It’s in support of a new 6 track EP, The Undecided EP, which is released on the same day.

Tickets go on sale from Ticketweb at 10am tomorrow morning.

MumMum have announced a quick five date UK tour in December in support of a new album. The Icelandic geniuses are set to do the usual venues, plus an excursion over to Dublin which will be very welcome.

Hives / UK November Tour

HivesThose crazy swedes The Hives have announced a quick three date jaunt of the UK at the end of November. Calling at the usual cities, they’ll be here for just a weekend.

See tickets says tickets aren’t on sale until Friday 31st August, however I have a feeling this might be wrong as its so far away – so don’t hold me to this!

The Hives will be playing:

Friday 23rd November – London Hammersmith Apollo
Saturday 24th November – Manchester Apollo
Sunday 25th November – Birmingham Carling Academy
