It’s been a bit since we’ve heard from American singer/songwriter George Lewis Jr., aka Twin Shadow. ‘Turn Me Up’ is the lead single from his upcoming album ‘Eclipse’, which is a smooth jam and a great return to form. Watch the black and white promo for the single below.
‘Eclipse’ will drop in March 2015 on Warner Brothers. Perfect timing for his scheduled appearance at SXSW 2015 in Austin. Past coverage of Twin Shadow on TGTF is here.

Niki and the Dove‘s song ‘DJ Ease My Mind’ has been remixed by Twin Shadow, and it’s an interesting result. Listen to and grab it for your very own from below.

Twin Shadow‘s new album ‘Confess’ album came out last week on 4AD, and here is the video for ‘Patient’, another track on the album. The video continues from the video theme of first album teaser ‘Five Seconds’ (previous Video of the Moment here) of motorcycle gangs. Watch it below.

Oh look, here’s yet another video that tries to be a film. This is the new promo from Twin Shadow for ‘Five Seconds’, a track we gave away in mid-May here. ‘Confess’, his new album, drops on the 9th of July on 4AD.

Twin Shadow has a new album coming out on the 9th of July on 4AD called ‘Confess’. To talk up the new album, 4AD is releasing this track, ‘Five Seconds’, as a free download. Listen to and download the song from the widget below.
Judging from the photo below, George Lewis Jr. is pulling an Arctic Monkeys but thankfully, it doesn’t sound like his musical style has changed that drastically.

Twin Shadow‘s popularity appears to be growing by leaps and bounds not only in Britain but in America as well. I personally don’t see it (I saw him and his band open for the Pains of Being Pure at Heart last week [read the review here] and didn’t see see or hear anything exceptional) but I can respect musicianship and effort in live performance.
Twin Shadow recently filmed a new video for ‘At My Heels’ and the first video below is a commentary by the video’s directors, talking their way through the video. Also below is are 4AD session videos of the songs ‘At My Heels’ as well as ‘Forget’, the song that closed out his set at DC’s Black Cat last Friday. Hope you enjoy both.
